Semi Finals
France 1:0 Belgium.
Belgium only had one chance, to dominate early and score. They did half of it but not the important half. The French know how to defend, how to hold on, and how to let their gazelle Mbappe run defences ragged. Belgium struggled to respond. French look strong.

Play-Off for Third Place
Belgium 2:0 England.
England showed their lack of depth. Changes to the first 11 made them look like a team that didn’t care about this game. Perhaps they didn’t. But they should have. Belgium were themselves. Solid at the back. Fluid in attack.
Enough now. Come home.
